Vietnam’s tourism industry has officially entered a “Golden Era” of recovery. According to the latest data from the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, April 2026 marked a historic milestone with 2.03 million international arrivals in a single month. This brings the total for the first four months of the year to 8.8 million visitors, a 14.6% increase year-on-year.

Market Insights and Diversification

The structure of Vietnam’s tourism market is shifting towards impressive diversification. While China and South Korea remain our largest markets, we are seeing a phenomenal 300% growth in the Russian market thanks to the recovery of direct flights. Southeast Asian momentum is also exceptional, led by the Philippines with over 73% growth, followed by Cambodia and Indonesia. Additionally, India continues its strategic rise with a high growth rate of 59%.
