Da Nang International Airport continues to make its mark as its international passenger terminal (T2) — known as Terminal 2 — has once again been awarded the prestigious 5-star certification by Skytrax for the third consecutive year. This achievement confirms not just a one-time recognition, but the airport’s consistent ability to maintain high service quality standards.

Maintaining this 5-star rating over consecutive years demonstrates the airport’s ongoing efforts to enhance the passenger experience, from infrastructure to operational processes. Terminal T2 stands out for its modern, clean space, clear signage, and services that meet international standards, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey for travelers.
According to data from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, in the first quarter of 2026, the number of international tourists staying in accommodation establishments reached approximately 2.34 million (an increase of 16.2% compared to the same period last year), reflecting a positive recovery of international tourism to Da Nang.
With the growing number of passengers, the airport previously experienced congestion and overcrowding at certain times. However, thanks to measures such as expanding and adding traffic lanes, optimizing passenger flows, and improving services, the situation has significantly improved. Currently, passengers highly appreciate the ease of movement as well as the airport’s clean and well-organized environment.

Receiving the 5-star Skytrax certification for three consecutive years not only recognizes the airport’s efforts in modernizing infrastructure and services but also enhances the international image of Vietnam’s aviation sector. This achievement serves as a solid foundation for Da Nang to continue attracting tourists and strengthening its position as one of the region’s leading tourism and aviation hubs.
