The adventure begins in Hanoi, the thousand-year-old capital. Here, you’ll enjoy a unique cyclo tour through the bustling Old Quarter, admire Hoan Kiem Lake, and soak in the charm of traditional architecture while feeling the vibrant energy of the city. From Hanoi, the tour takes you to Mai Chau, a peaceful valley surrounded by majestic mountains and home to ethnic minority villages. Guests will stay in traditional stilt houses, taste local specialties such as sticky rice and rice wine, and enjoy cultural dances performed by the Thai and Muong people – a truly authentic encounter with mountain life.
Next, the journey continues to Ninh Binh, often called “Halong Bay on land.” You’ll climb to the top of Hang Mua for panoramic views, visit the ancient Bich Dong Pagoda, and take a boat trip along Tam Coc, where limestone cliffs rise beside tranquil rivers. The highlight awaits at Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sailing on a luxury tour cruise, you will marvel at thousands of limestone islands, savor fresh seafood, and embrace the serenity of the emerald waters. This itinerary is the perfect way to travel to Vietnam, blending cultural immersion, natural wonders, and local traditions into one enriching experience of Northern Vietnam.

We will leave Hanoi in the morning for Mai Chau, a Thai minority village in the Hoa Binh region. This predominantly agricultural area has remained largely untouched by modernization and the influx of tourists, allowing you to experience a different side of Vietnam.
We will visit Van Village, where we will meet members of a White Thai family, who will invite us to a homemade lunch of typical Vietnamese food. Talking with them, you will discover the traditions of the region and learn about daily life in Vietnam.
A visit to Lac Village is one of the most charming corners of the Mai Chau Valley. Dating back over 700 years, it is home to five Thai ethnic groups: Ha, Lo, Vi, Mac, and Loc.
After lunch, we will arrive at the hotel where we will spend the night. You'll have free time for the rest of the afternoon, which you can take advantage of for a walk or bike ride through the countryside and visit nearby villages.
